We were challenged in our faith as Christians

Excellent, and very well written book, and a must for your library! To be honest, we had no idea who Polycarp was until we read the book. Through the authors writings, as promised, we were challenged in our faith as Christians. Its a great book no matter of the degree of your knowledge of the scriptures We highly recommend this book, and applaud the author. (K.B. from California)

Captures the imagination and teaches

This book both captures the imagination and teaches. Nearly every page has something that points you to the Word, makes you think, and reminds you of spiritual reality in Christ.

First-century believers and martyrs often seem so distant from us today. I thought the author did a good job reminding us of how real and human these believers were, how they faced the same inner battles we do, and how they were strengthened by the same Word and same Christ that we have. Wonderful novel that brings history to life

"Polycarp a destroyer of our gods is a wonderful novel that brings history to life and brings glory to the One True God." (A Kindle reader)

Gets better as you read it

"From start to finish, this book slowly builds momentum and gets better as you read it. What I liked so much about the book was how it is ingrained with scripture. Every chapter is filled with examples from the bible as they are interwoven with the characters in the book. A theme I saw throughout the book is that whenever trials arise whether they seem big or small the greatest option is running to the word of God and seeking His aid. I enjoyed it very much!!"
